Hookamals

The "Hookamals" bag and coat hooks for nurseries and infant schools won a Primary Teacher Update magazine gold award and was a finalist in the FX International Design Awards in 2013.  The genesis of the concept was to make a cost-effective bag and coat hook that conformed to European Standard DIN7917. The hanging hook faces backwards so it is less of a hazard if a child falls against it. The hooks are a single piece 2.5mm laser cut steel folded into shape.  The single Elephant version of the hook has been tested to hold 50kg.  The Elephant was the first version followed by the Caterpillar, Monster, Butterfly and Monkey.
